Triangle Insurance Company was charted in 1992 to provide a stable, direct insurance market for the member/owners of its century-old parent company, Triangle Cooperative Service Company. Established in 1916, Triangle Cooperative Service Company, laid the ground work for Triangle Insurance to be built on cooperative values. The parent company originally aided Oklahoma cooperatives with marketing grain and securing rail cars. Today, TCSC has evolved into a service company, which offers Compliance Solutions, Triangle HR Solutions and Employee Group Benefits.
In its beginning, Triangle Insurance strived to meet the unique needs of Oklahoma cooperatives struggling to find adequate coverage at a competitive price. In the years since, we have expanded our operating territory to offer our exclusive products and exceptional service to over half of the nation and we continue to grow.
Our superior customer service is the Triangle Difference. We believe in personalized, face-to-face interactions combined with a hands-on, common sense approach to loss control and underwriting. This provides flexibility to our customers and has proven successful, resulting in an A- "Excellent" financial rating from A.M. Best. Our customers are our partners and we treat them as such by offering insurance solutions which mutually benefit both parties. Since 1992 we have added new markets to include large commercial farms, feed mills, farm stores and fertilizer dealers. We offer an exclusive participation dividend to our members.
Having a knowledgeable employee group is vital to us. Their extensive, first-hand familiarity of agriculture combined with their insurance expertise allows us to better relate to our customers and their operations. We strategically locate our field employees throughout the Midwest to fulfill our promise, to be there when our customers need us most. Our claims department approaches all claims with a sense of urgency and fairness with the goal of returning our customers to operational status as quickly as possible.
While we have experienced tremendous growth, we have remained grounded in our agricultural roots. We are governed by a board of directors who are agricultural leaders such as farmer producers, cooperative managers and regional officers.
